People often ask me where I get my inspiration. Since I’m so often inspired by other women, I started this “Fuel My Imagination” series to share a little bit about women who inspire me and how each one wears my jewelry in her own way.
Who: My friend Sara. We met several years ago when she was working part-time at a boutique that carried my jewelry (her full-time job is as a project manager at FDA); we hit it off instantly and have been friends ever since. In 2013, she was the model for my spring collection. Sara has been a huge supporter of my work—which is a big compliment, since she’s one of the most stylish and discerning women I know. She’s a master at layering multiple pieces of jewelry without ever looking overdone. She’s also one of the sweetest and most fun ladies I’ve ever hung out with. When we met, Sara was single; she’s now married and has two beautiful children (I have my eye on her 2-year-old daughter as a potential future model!). I’m not sure how Sara makes the time to regularly get together with me (and always look impeccable) in spite of having a full-time job, a husband, a baby, and a toddler, but I’m so happy that she does.
What She’s Wearing: Tiny blue teardrop earrings (available soon), long mixed-metals pendant, long champagne pearl pendant with rings, dainty cubic zirconia oval necklace, and large oval shell pearl bracelet.
